After many years in psychiatric occupational health, we resolved to become the leading provider in this increasingly important field by joining with MindSense Occupational Psychiatry. Together, we provide timely and appropriate opinions and advice to minimise the disruption of mental health on people and business. We also impart our knowledge of mental health into all other areas of our service offering, understanding that a person’s physical and mental health is intrinsically linked.
Giving back is in our nature and something that we love to do. A number of causes have benefited from our social awareness and contribution; a particular favourite is when we, along with our consultants, donate the time and cost of an appointment to fundraise for local health and educational programs. It is a simple but meaningful way in which our work can make a positive change within the community.

Part of Medilaw Group
From 2017, Next Health came together with other like-minded and quality-focused organisations to become Medilaw Group. The group consisted of Next Health, Medilaw, the Australian Medico-Legal Group (AMLG) and Medico Legal Opinions (MLO).
In September 2021, it was announced that AMLG and MLO would merge with and be known as Medilaw. This was a natural step given the businesses had worked closely together under the umbrella of Medilaw Group for a number of years.
Today, Medilaw Group consists of Next Health on the west coast (servicing Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territory), Medilaw on the east coast and in central Australia and MindSense Centre of Psychiatry. The local relationships and expertise of each brand remains, supported by the national resources of the broader group.
We are also part of MedHealth. MedHealth supports thousands of people each year to achieve better work and health outcomes through a unique combination of strengths, capabilities and resources, which span healthcare management, medical opinion, advisory, employment, health and business technology, rehabilitation and return to work services.
To develop innovative wellbeing and work solutions across the health pathway of an individual, Next Health has formed strong relationships with like-minded organisations from within MedHealth. These sister organisations include WorkFocus Australia, a national workplace rehabilitation provider who, like Next Health, is the largest provider in their field within Western Australia, and exercise physiology provider Be Active Health Solutions.
